Speaker: Tianna Lucas

It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting! This week we are excited to have Tianna Lucas, an alum of our group, join us to share her transition journey and learnings/insights gained along the way. I'm sure this will be a great discussion!

• Tianna is Director, Organizational Development at CoreCivic with responsibilities for creating a Career Experiences Model, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, culture including New Leader Assimilations, and other enterprise initiatives. Tianna has deep and diverse experience, including roles in pharmaceutical sales, HR, training and organizational development. She is known for providing strategic solutions to successfully drive results, helping her teams succeed by building a culture of coaching, growth and development. Strengthening organizations and making them profitable through employee performance, retention, and engagement is what motivates Tianna to keep learning and advancing in her career. Tianna received her MBA from Lipscomb University in 2020 and has a number of awards and accomplishments to her name, including:
• Creating a customized Leadership Development Program for over 300 Directors of Operations and 60 Area Vice Presidents/SVPs, resulting in increased revenue and other key business metrics.
• 2015 W.E. Upjohn Award Recognition for Leadership and Mentoring Hospital Surgical Specialist Colleague.
• 2013 Vice President's Cabinet Winner; ranked #1 Regionally and #1 Nationally; 93.81% year-to-date average bonus attainment.

Tianna loves making a positive difference in people's lives. A servant leader, her nature is to coach, develop, support, and encourage others to be their best in every aspect of their lives. Outside of work, Tianna enjoys staying active with spinning, yoga, walking and even boxing! Cooking and baking are also some of her favorite pastimes.  Tianna also has a passion for helping others improve wellness and healing through the power of essential oils.
