Networking Over the Holidays: Strategies and Tactics

This week we will be focusing on Networking Over the Holidays: Strategies and Tactics and I'm sure this will be a great discussion. Did you know between 70-80% of jobs are found through networking? If you've attended previous Transition Group meetings, this is not new information for you; we have discussed the importance of networking to your job search often. But you may be surprised to learn that the holidays can be the best time to network. This doesn't necessarily fit conventional wisdom. We'll discuss some of the misconceptions people have around holiday networking and share some tips to help you create a networking plan this season that will energize your job search and help you enter 2023 with momentum.

In advance of this meeting, please think of any questions you would like discussed. Upon joining (via Zoom), you will be asked to:

1. Provide a 30 second introduction.
2. Share your contact information in the chat so others will be able to connect with you (optional). We suggest your name, email address and your LinkedIn Profile URL.
3. Address any questions you have in a separate chat directly to Lauren Kiproff-Downer and she will compile them for discussion during the meeting.

Please remember to register no later than 1:00PM Central Time, Monday, November 28. Registration will close at 1 PM CST and log-in information for Zoom is sent to all registrants in the registration confirmation email.
