Biography: 

Jason Ellison is the Area Senior Vice President of Gallagher’s Health and Welfare Consulting business. Jason has over 23 years of experience assisting clients in all areas of Total Rewards, Benefit Strategy and Organizational Wellbeing. 

Mike Kniery, Area Vice President Health & Welfare Consulting. 
Mike manages and oversees all aspects of health and welfare benefit programs and delivery for Gallagher’s large self-funded clients, including strategic planning, program optimization & execution, financial analysis, plan implementation and communication and engagement.  Mike has expertise in both Public and Private sectors serving a wide array of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, and governmental entities. Mike has been in the insurance industry for 16 years and in the consulting arena for 8+ years specifically serving large self-funded complex clients. Prior to joining Gallagher he served as Strategic Account Executive for UnitedHealthcare’s large self-funded clients. Mike also has a strong analytical background in clinical and financial reporting with a M.S. in Health Analytics. He also was a large group medical underwriter with CIGNA.  This broad range of experience has enabled him to understand the entire insurance continuum.
