"Are We Really Okay?" Navigating Mental Health as a Leader
Presented by a Panel Discussion
According to a recent study by Mental Health America and FlexJobs, more than 75% of working professionals stated that workplace stress has negatively impacted their mental health despite organizational efforts to support associate well-being. While Mental Health Month came and went with May, unaddressed mental health challenges continue to impact our bottom line by increasing turnover, healthcare costs, absenteeism, behavioral challenges, and loss of productivity.
This has us reexamining the question, “Are we really okay?” For many of workers, the answer is no. Now is the time to make a difference and turn the tide for your team members! Don’t miss this engaging panel discussion to hear how seasoned leaders are tackling mental health in various industries. Together, we will uncover the secrets that will equip you and your leadership teams to have productive mental health conversations that will reduce burnout, increase retention, and empower your team members in an inclusive workplace.
After attending this panel discussion, you will be able to:
- Understand the ways unaddressed mental health is impacting your organization
- Identify the mental health biases and emotionally dismissive language present in your organizational culture and understand how to overcome them
- Provide your leaders with actionable best practices for navigating critical mental health conversations and promoting an inclusive work environment.
