Stacy Adams is an executive HR leader, serving industries in government, financial, consulting, manufacturing, real estate, property management and supply chain logistics. She currently leads the Human Resources/Total Rewards function at Geodis, a global logistics supply chain company based in Brentwood. Stacy previously served for 8 years as VP Human Resources at Ghertner & Company in Nashville. She has also held several senior leadership HR roles at Heritage Bank & Trust, Peoples Bank and Nissan Trading Corporation Americas in Smyrna.

 

Stacy completed her distinguished 21 year career with the Air Force in 2003, receiving numerous awards. She has also served in many civic organizations and has been Chair Person for the MTSHRM Strategic Leadership Conference for the last 2 years. Stacy has also been a professor at Bethel University for 15 years and has taught at Columbia State Community College, with an emphasis in HR Management, Leadership, and Strategic Planning.

                                                                                      

Stacy is married to David Adams and they have two grown children, Doris and Amber, who served our country in the Air Force and went on to become a nurse and mechanical engineer, respectively. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, cycling and fitness of all kinds.
