Human Resources Networking Group with Alum Speaker

Hello everyone!

It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting! We are excited to have Michael McCoy, an alum of our group, join us to share his transition journey and learnings/insights gained along the way. Michael has spoken with our group several times in the past and we're excited to have him return. I'm sure this will be a great discussion!

Michael McCoy is a 12 year Army National Guard service member. He has been in HR, career services or recruiting since 2016. He is currently the Head of Military Programs, Non-Traditional Talent and Diversity Recruitment at Verizon. In this role he leads their national effort on Apprenticeships, and changing the narrative around who is an Apprentice in 2024's technology economy. His teams also support talent management, and strategic planning of hiring pathways for all business groups within Verizon.

In advance of this meeting, please think of any questions you would like to be addressed. Upon joining the meeting (via Zoom), you will be asked to:

  1. Provide a 30 second introduction.
  2. Share your contact information in the chat so others will be able to connect with you (optional). We suggest your name, email address and your LinkedIn Profile URL.
  3. Address any questions you have in a separate chat directly to Lauren Kiproff-Downer and she will compile them for discussion during the meeting.
Please remember to register no later than 1:00PM Central Time, Monday, March 18; the registration link is here.

We are excited about the meeting and will begin at 4:00PM CST via Zoom Here. For more information on future meetings please visit the MTSHRM website. Feel free to pass this email along to your networks that may be interested in connecting. If you've recently landed a role, please reply directly here and let us know!

We look forward to seeing you all Monday!

Thanks,
