Join Us To Learn More About The 2024 leadership development program

Please join us for an information session for the 2024 Leadership Development Program to answer questions about the program from prior participants. Registration for the informational session does not serve as a registration for the program, and participation in the program requires acceptance through application. There is no charge to participate in the information session and a Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the morning of the open house.

Program Overview

This 6-month program includes a personal Hogan assessment and debrief, evening virtual sessions, six virtual and in-person workshops, and a 2-hour in person capstone event. Kickoff meeting on May 28, 2024. Two-hour sessions starting June 11 through October, a full-day session on November 12, 2024, plus, a two-hour capstone event December 10, 2024. The 2024 Leadership Development Program builds on the body of competency knowledge which supports the SHRM certifications (SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP) and reinforces our commitment to developing leaders of MT|SHRM and our HR community. The program is for entry to mid-level HR professionals who are emerging leaders seeking to develop their leadership skills. Members who currently hold PHR or SHRM certifications will benefit from exposure to the competencies and can receive at least 25 pre-approved credits, potentially more, and up to an additional 11 self-reported credits.

• Organizational Leadership & Navigation

Important Dates:

• Informational Meeting: Tuesday, March 19, 2024, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT via Zoom

• Program application deadline: April 12, 2024  

• Scholarship application deadline: April 12, 2024

• Scholarship review and selections: April 15- 19, 2024

• Program acceptance and scholarship notifications sent via email by April 22, 2024

• Kickoff meeting: May 28, 2024, 6:00 PM CST

• Sessions run full-day June 11 - November 12, 2024, plus, a half-day capstone event December 10, 2024.

Participant Investment

• Once accepted, participants will register for the program and process payment (if applicable).

MT|SHRM Members:

• Early Bird Registration: $998 until May 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM CT

• $1,198 May 11-15, 2024

Non-members:

• Early Bird Registration: $1,128 until May 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM CT

• $1,398 May 11-15, 2024 (Includes a 1-year MT|SHRM membership)

Scholarships

MT|SHRM offers scholarships to offset expenses of the program. Deadline to apply is Monday, April 12, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and awarded to recipients by Monday, April 22, 2024. To learn more about the scholarships, click here.
