Hello everyone!
It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Career Transition Group meeting on April 1, The Job Search - It's No Joking Matter. With April Fool's Day approaching, we are all reminded of times when we have fallen victim to a foolish joke or situations when we felt deceived. Come to Monday's meeting ready to share and listen to stories about those times when you have felt like a "fool" in your job search/career transition. For example, going through a 3 month interview process and then being ghosted; or being asked inappropriate or even illegal personal questions during an interview; or applying to a position you are perfectly qualified, and passionate about, only to hear...crickets. We've all had experiences like these during our job search. Join us as we share, and learn from each other!
In advance of this meeting, please think of any questions you would like to be addressed. Upon joining the meeting (via Zoom), you will be asked to:
- Provide a 30 second introduction.
- Share your contact information in the chat so others will be able to connect with you (optional). We suggest your name, email address and your LinkedIn Profile URL.
- Address any questions you have in a separate chat directly to Lauren Kiproff-Downer and she will compile them for discussion during the meeting.
