It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting! Our focus this week is Increasing Your Career Joy and Impact.

We are happy to have Derek Young as our guest for the upcoming session.  Derek will share with the group his informed perspective on careers and job searching. We will explore how to clarify and leverage our unique impact in the pursuit of our personal and professional goals. how to differentiate calling from career; the "popcorn popper" interview mindset; and moving from a perceived "failure" to FaiLearn.

Derek Young is a leader, speaker, and executive coach who has been in practice since 1987 in both external and corporate roles. He has been a career coach for more that 1,500 C-suite, middle management, and emerging leaders, resulting in promotions and new careers for more than 80% of his clients.

Derek founded the Diversity and Community Relations function at Cracker Barrel, and the corporate Social Responsibility and Process Improvement function at Dollar General. In his practice, Derek focuses on career development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, leadership development, and performance management.
