💪 Managing Stress & Burnout in the Job Search: Moving Forward with Resilience

Searching for a new job can be one of the most stressful and draining experiences in your career. Without the right strategies, prolonged stress can lead to burnout—leaving you exhausted, discouraged, and doubting yourself.

In this interactive 30-minute session, Industrial & Organizational Psychologist Lauren Kiproff-Downer, MAIOP, will share evidence-based insights and practical tools to help you manage stress effectively, recognize the difference between normal search pressure and true burnout, and build resilience.

You’ll also learn how to avoid carrying burnout into a new role once you land it, ensuring you begin with energy and confidence. Whether you’re just starting your search or have been looking for some time, this session will give you actionable strategies to protect your well-being and move forward!

Lauren Kiproff-Downer, M.A. is an Organizational Development consultant and founder of Perpara Organizational Development Consulting, where she helps small and mid-sized organizations strengthen leadership, employee experience, and culture through evidence-based I-O psychology. Her expertise includes talent strategy, leadership development, organizational development, and designing forward-thinking, high-engagement workplaces.
