Presented by David Hutchens, Author & CEO, The Storytelling Leader
Program Description:
In this program, David Hutchens explores how the world’s most influential organizations and leaders use storytelling as a powerful tool to align people, inspire action, and drive meaningful change. Through engaging, fun, and unforgettable real-world examples, he will challenge participants to identify and rethink their own “narrative assets”, the value-holding stories that shape culture, influence behavior, and guide decision-making.
Attendees will gain insight into how stories can either accelerate or stall change, and why intentional storytelling matters more than ever in today’s fast-moving environment. David will also introduce a simple, practical framework that participants can immediately apply to activate their stories, strengthen alignment, and lead change more effectively from day one.
Registration: MTSU Faculty or Student: $5; All others: $20 by end of business _______, $25 afterwards.
Certification: This program has been submitted to SHRM and HRCI for certification review.
Presenter Biography:

David Hutchens, Author & CEO, The Storytelling Leader
David Hutchens is a best-selling author and CEO of The Storytelling Leader. He helps the world’s most influential strategy, culture, and innovation leaders tell stories and exercise a more “humanized” voice of influence. David has worked with individuals across all levels in organizations, which all started when he wrote a story for Coca-cola in 1998 called "Outlearning the Wolves" that has since been shared all over the world. David explores the role of storytelling in leadership influence, behavior change, and more. His work has brought him all around the world to key influential organizations such as NASA, Nike, Microsoft, and more.
