This interactive, Q&A-style session focuses on navigating post-graduation career decisions and early career experiences. Participants will explore common career paths, the value of taking time to figure out next steps, and how early career choices relate to long-term professional growth. The discussion will incorporate HR-related insights on career development, workplace expectations, and building transferable skills.

Registration: MTSU Faculty or Student: $5; All others: $20 by end of business _______, $25 afterwards.

Mary Jo Swearingen, HR Leader at LBMC Employment Partners

Mary Jo Swearingen, SHRM-SCP, oversees internal HR for LBMC Employment Partners, a PEO based in Brentwood, Tennessee. With experience across both the public and private sectors, she brings a well-rounded perspective to building people-first strategies that drive performance and engagement.
She is deeply committed to community service and the HR profession, serving in leadership roles with SHRM and regularly speaking to develop and inspire the next generation of HR leaders.
