Can You Handle a Crisis In Your Company? Crisis Communications Preparedness Can Make The Difference.
Presented by Aileen Katcher, Principal, Katcher Strategic Communications
![]() |
If your company hasn’t already had a “they did what?!!” moment, it will. And there is a 50% chance it will be caused by management and 30% chance an employee will cause it. Whatever the cause, crisis readiness is a bottom line issue. Having a plan and knowing how to use it can mean the difference between getting through it with minimal damage or a costly loss due to disruption of your business.
|
A crisis is a situation that has the potential to disrupt a business’s operations and/or profitability. In today’s world of instant communications, a crisis can take many forms – and affect your business before you even know about it. How an organization responds in the first 60 minutes can set the tone for how it survives.
Every company should have a crisis communications plan and hope that they never need it.
In this session, Katcher will:
- Outline the key elements to include in the crisis communications plan
- Discuss how to make sure your team is ready to use it to communicate if needed
- Talk about critical timing for implementing hte crisis communication plan
