The Benefits of HR Rotational Programs

The benefits of HR rotational programs and/or organization’s that promote rotational programs. As a young HR professional considering career options, it is important to consider organizations that provide rotational opportunities that allow newer HR professionals the ability to learn a variety of tactical HR skills that will ultimately make them better HR leaders in the future.

Biography: Aaron Belville currently leads the corporate HR function for Dollar General, a Fortune 200 retailer based in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. In his current capacity as Senior Director of Store Support Center Human Resources, Aaron leads the team responsible for acquiring, developing and retaining Dollar General’s corporate employees. His area of responsibility also includes all executive recruiting and global human resources for Dollar General’s international sourcing operations. Prior to his current role, Aaron held positions of increasing responsibility with Dollar General in retail human resources and multiple specialist roles. Aaron was previously responsible for all HR generalist activities for Comdata and Stored Value Solutions, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company based in Minneapolis. Before pursuing a career in Human Resources, Aaron was a licensed attorney in Michigan where his practice focused on representing employers in employment law matters. He holds a BS degree in Government and Public Administration from Lipscomb University, a JD from the University of Tennessee College of Law and an MBA from Ole Miss.
