Successful Talent Acquisition Techniques in a Candidate-Driven Market

Servpro presented a tremendous talent acquisition challenge, targeted to triple employee headcount at the same time the employment market "supply" was much lower than the demand for quality candidates to fill key job openings.  This one hour presentation will use the SERVPRO case to demonstrate how HR professionals can win the war on acquiring top talent.  Learning Objectives:

Biography:
Andy will be celebrating his 40th year in the HR profession next year.  Andy is currently the Head of Human Resources at Servpro Industries, Inc.'s corporate headquarters in Gallatin, TN.   Andy leads a group of nine HR professionals specializing in Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Training & Organizational Development.  Previously, Andy was Vice President of Human Resources at Ingram Entertainment, President of his own HR consulting firm, and Director of Human Resources at IMSCO and Comdata, Inc.  Andy "pays it forward" by serving on several committees/boards, including board member for Tennessee Rehabilitation Center in Gallatin, Gallatin Expansion and Retention (GEAR) member since its inception, Member TBR/IT Skills Panel, Chaired the City of Gallatin Community Outreach Project, guest lecturer at VSCC and TSU, and past President of SCHRA, the Gallatin-based HR group before MT-SHRM was involved in Sumner County.
