2017 Leadership Development Program

A 5-week after-hours program with a full day capstone event
May 17^th through June 7^th; one-day capstone event on June 16^th

The 2017 Emerging Leader Development Program is a 5-week development experience designed to support and develop up-and-coming, new, and current leaders in our MT|SHRM and local HR community. Topics and speakers have been chosen to help you develop your leadership skills and build a foundation for becoming a strategic thought leader in HR. The program will run May 17^th through June 7^th (sessions are in the evening). A full day capstone event is held on June 16^th.

The following topics from the SHRM competencies will be covered during this program:

Classroom space is generously provided by Lipscomb University, but space is limited to 30 participants. Sessions on Wednesday May 17^th, May 24^th, May 31^st, and June 7^th are held in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The full day capstone event on June 16^th will be held from 8:30am – 4:00pm, and lunch will be provided that day.

Participant Investment –

$750 for MT|SHRM members; $879 for Non-members which includes a 1 year MT|SHRM membership. Registration closes May 10, 2017.

Scholarship information and applications are available. If you wish to apply for a MT|SHRM scholarship to offset expenses, the deadline to apply is May 1, 2017. Scholarships are awarded after review of applications by the Scholarship Committee by May 10, 2017. Additional details regarding the scholarship application process are provided by clicking here.

The Ezell building is labeled 44 on the campus map which can be found at this link: http://www.lipscomb.edu/page.asp?SID=4&Page=3170). Ample parking is available in the parking lot between the Ezell Building and the baseball field. The LDP sessions will be held in Room 359. When entering the Ezell Building, you may take the elevator to your right or the steps to the left to the 3rd Floor. (The large staircase in the middle will not lead you to the room.)
