2020 LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM  - Open House

We are hosting an open house for the 2020 Leadership Development Program to answer any questions potential candidates might have about participating in the program. Registration for the open house does not serve as a registration for the program, and participation in the program requires acceptance through application. A link to the application is available below.

There is no charge to participate in the open house and a Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the morning of the open house.

This 6-month program includes a personal Hogan assessment and debrief, evening webinars,1 day paid entry into the 2021 TN SHRM Conference and a half-day capstone event.

December 8th through June 1st; plus, a half-day capstone event TBD.

The 2020 Leadership Development Program builds on the body of competency knowledge which supports the SHRM certifications (SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP) and reinforces our commitment to developing leaders of MT|SHRM and our HR community.

The program is a experiential course and is intended for mid-level HR professionals who are emerging leaders seeking to develop their leadership skills. Members who currently hold PHR or SHRM certifications will benefit from exposure to the competencies and can receive at least 25 pre-approved credits, potentially more, and up to an additional 11 self-reported credits.

• Virtual Kick-off Meeting December 8^th, next meeting will be 1/12/21
• We will meet the 2^ndand 3^rd Tuesday of each month
  • 2^nd Tuesday- Speaker Presentation 2 hours
  • 3^rd Tuesday- 1 hour Debrief Call
• 2021 TN SHRM Conference August 15 - 18
• Capstone Event & Graduation Luncheon Date/Time TBD.
  

Participant Investment

Early Bird registration is $995 for MT|SHRM members and $1,135 for non-members, which includes a 1-year MT|SHRM membership. Early Bird registration closes Friday November 13, 2020. Regular registration is $1,195 for MT|SHRM members; $1,335 for Non-members. The regular application closes Friday November 20th, 2020.

Scholarship information and applications are available. If you wish to apply for a MT|SHRM scholarship to offset expenses, the deadline to apply is Friday, November 13, 2020. Scholarships are awarded after review of applications by the Scholarship Committee by Thursday, November 19, 2020.
