Speaker Michelle Halman

It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting and we have a great meeting planned for you this week. We have a previous alumni, Michele Hallman, returning to tell us more about how they recently landed their role and tactics that helped along the way.

Michelle Halman works to connect with people everyday - through Human Resources.  After struggling during COVID with a new job search that lasted 6 months, she landed at Amazon in Murfreesboro as a Senior Human Resource Assistant.  

Michelle worked at Vanderbilt University and Medical Center for 16 years prior to June 2020.  She has run a job training program for young adults with disabilities, researched how to increase employment outcomes for people with disabilities and finally worked as a Recruitment and Training Manager.

She is a graduate of MTSU and has lived in Murfreesboro since 1987.  Michelle has two grown daughters that she is more than happy to talk endlessly about when you give her an opportunity.  In her free time, she spends as much time on the lake as she can.
