Many organizations fear hiring candidates with disabilities due to a lack of education and awareness about this demographic. This event will provide HR leaders with the knowledge and resources to attract, retain and develop individuals from this underserved population.
Objectives:
- Provide education and guidance on hiring and providing support to candidates with disabilities.
- Discuss resources available to assist employers in providing needed accommodations to tap into the best and brightest talent.
- Experience interactive activities during the webinar to better understand the value and the endless possibilities of working with neurodiverse populations.
- Learn ways to champion inclusion and become an ally for employees with disabilities

Biographies:
Aislynn Kiser, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA is a Behavior Analyst and serves as the Associate Director of Online Education Programs for Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD). In her work as a Behavior Analyst, she delivers training to professionals and service providers across the state of Tennessee in evidence based practices and strategies for the school setting. Additionally, as the Associate Director of Online Education Programs, she worked with a team at Vanderbilt to developnbsp;a center-wide online learning management system to enable educators, families, and providers ease of access to support individuals with disabilities on a state-wide and national level.
Kelly Luo, M. Ed., is an educational consultant and serves as the Associate Director of Transition Services for Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD). Her work focuses on training educators, administrators, and service providers throughout the state of Tennessee on a variety of topics including evidence-based teaching strategies, behavior management, transition planning, and pre-vocational training. She also serves as co-director of TRIADrsquo;s Community Engagement program, the All-Access Inclusion Network, which works with community organizations to promote inclusion and accessibility.
Brittney Goscicki, M.A., is a doctoral student in the Special Education-Low Incidence Disabilities program at Vanderbilt University. She has assisted with the Volunteer Advocacy Project since Fall of 2018. Prior to starting her doctoral program, Brittney was a self-contained special education teacher in New York City; she has taught grades 3-8 in a variety of classroom settings. Her research interests include improving both educational outcomes for students with severe disabilities and family quality of life for families of children with disabilities.
