Creating Your Personal Brand (Part 3)

It's time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting! This week, we will be wrapping up our discussion on the subject of Creating Your Personal Brand.

To recap, we all have a brand, whether you are aware of it or not. Others are defining your brand for you all the time. Think of your personal brand as your unique value, or "superpower." Creating your brand involves looking inward (your personal motivations, what makes you "come alive," your unique value), outward (the market, and who needs what you offer), and forward (your career goals, priorities and practical needs). In this meeting, we will focus the discussion on looking forward, helping you gain clarity on your professional and personal priorities and what you want in your career.

In advance of this meeting, please reflect on the following prompts. The complete worksheet on creating your personal brand is attached.
• What's important to me - professionally and personally?
• What environment do I thrive in?
• What are my career goals for the next 3, 5, 10 years?

Also think of additional questions you would like discussed in our meeting. Upon joining, you will be asked to:
1. Provide a 30 second introduction.
2. Share your contact information in the chat so others will be able to connect with you. We suggest your name, email address and your LinkedIn Profile URL (optional).
3. Put any questions you have in a separate chat to Lauren Kiproff-Downer and she will compile them for discussion during the meeting.

Please remember to register for the meeting no later than 1:00PM Central Time, Monday, April 11th using this link. Registration will close at 1 PM CST and log-in information for Zoom will be sent to all registrants shortly thereafter so be watching for that message.
