It is time to reserve your seat for the next MT|SHRM Transition Group meeting!

This week we are excited to have Debbie Hotard, an alum of our group, join us to share her transition journey and learnings/insights gained along the way. I am sure this will be a great discussion.

Debbie Hotard serves as Human Resources Manager for AkzoNobel, a global paints and performance coatings company, supporting their four commercial business units throughout the United States. Her work encompasses all aspects of Human Resources including employee lifecycle management, talent management and calibration, succession planning, employee relations, employee development, and coaching. Prior to AkzoNobel, Debbie had a successful 32-year career with Allstate Insurance Company as a Human Resources Business Partner mostly supporting their Claims operations across several regions. She worked for Allstate in Louisiana, Mississippi, and relocated to Nashville in 2008. Unfortunately, after a long tenure, Allstate went through a major company reorganization that left many employees impacted. Debbie’s role was eliminated, and she found herself in a job transition until she accepted a position with AkzoNobel in May 2021. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Debbie graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.S. in Marketing. She currently holds her PHR and SHRM-CP designations. She currently resides in Mt. Juliet TN. In her free time, Debbie enjoys the area greenways and hiking trails, exercising, crafting, and DIY projects.
